The more I experience working up here in the oil patch the more I see how some companies completely take advantage of their employees. What I am about to say is almost complete sacrilidge but I can totally see where some form of Union might be a good idea in some of these companies.

The problem with the current system is that companies like ESS have Unions and that particular Union is SO corrupt that it's common knowledge that the Union President takes bribes to get certain ethnic groups admitted to the Union. That and the fact that the Union workers cleaning the lunch room make upwards of $100,000 a year while the office workers who are doing work that is much more technical and requires skills make around $50,000 just doesn't seem right.

Day in and day out we hear stories about companies that are scrambeling to find decent employees. Well you know what? The decent employees are out there and they want to work they're probably just to damned smart to take the job.

Ah, my young apprentice...come on over to the red side!

No, I can see your reasons for saying what your saying. Unfortunately, corruption always ruins a good thing--stay away from greed, kids!
