Do the hokey pokey!

Two steps forward and one step back… As far as we progress in this world there’s always this overwhelming feeling that there is still so much more that we need to accomplish.  Often I have found that these feelings that cause so much frustration and anxiety stem from talking to my parents about future plans.  At this moment in time I’m busy trying to improve myself and my situation so that things can only get better from here.  I think the problem lies when you try and plan to far in advance with no real idea of what’s going to happen.  Ultimately none of us do know what’s going to happen in the future so what’s the point of stressing ourselves out trying to figure out how we’re going to react to events that haven’t even occurred yet?

I feel that an update on my four days off is in order.  I enjoyed Raph and Wifeys fabulous hospitality and made an absolute mess of their home while I was at it.  It many ways it was the perfect time off as I was able keep myself entertained, or be entertained, for the entire four days but at a leisurely pace.  Thanks again kids!

I finished ‘The Great Gatsby’ last night and I really enjoyed it, again another highly recommended read.

It’s a typical Saturday around here.  Totally dead and I’m here till 10!  Yuck.

Hopefully my next post will be made from the comfort of my room.  In room internet services have finally made it to camp which means that I’ll be back on messenger more often as well.  Hope to see you there!
