After a flaming hot weekend (highs of 37C) I'm now heading back to work.  My weekend off was interesting.  I ended up spending a bunch of time with my friend Peter's boyfriend Dave.  The whole experience was rather interesting and I can honestly say I wasn't planning on spending that much time with him but had a good time none-the-less.  Overall the weekend was too darn hot to do much more than sit in the house with the A/C on.
 
Janet got back from Merritt and she's now a golden colour.  Really strange actually the colour that her skin goes when she's had too much sun.  Overall I think she had a good time, I really missed her while she was gone.  Good practice for September.
 
I talked to my best friends yesterday, who are currently living in Holland.  They are coming home and are one of the weddings that I am attending on the weekend of August 14-15.  I'm very excited to see them again and can't wait to catch up. 
 
I also talked to my friend Nay in San Francisco.  She's been down there working with street people for the past... two years I think and I'm sure is going to be the next Mother Theresa.  The girl is amazing and anytime I need encouragement or just to be reminded of what's important in life I talk to her.  Last night was a difficult conversation for both of us (I think) because of an issue I'm dealing with.  Essentially at the end of the conversation she challenged me with "Who are you going to serve?"
